Often many of these sources include information such as death records, death certificate indexes, death notices & registers, obituaries, probate indexes, and cemetery & burial records. Illinois Newspaper Obituaries Archive includes recent obituaries for 100 IL newspapers, mostly from the 2000s, but some date back to the 1980s & 1990s (requires payment for full results - you can obtain online copies of individual obituaries for a fee)
